If you've integrated your Automation Agency account with your Slack account you can quickly and easily create new task requests without leaving slack.
Option 1: Direct Message Alvin
Step 1. Open a DM with @Alvin (
Step 1a. We recommend you favourite Alvin so he's always easy to access
Step 2. Type "new task" or "create task"
Step 3. Pick the Type of Hero you need (aka Task Type) and click Next
Step 4. Type out the Summary and Task Description
Step 5. Once ready to send the task click "Send"
Step 6. If the task was successful Alvin will post a link to the task in the DM channel
Step 7. If you wish to upgrade the task to Priority click on "Yes, Please!"
Option 2: Tag Alvin From Within A Channel
Step 1. Invite @Alvin to a public or private channel
Step 2. Type "@alvin new task" or "@alvin create task"
Step 3. Follow the steps as above from Step 3.
